About StudyCalc
StudyCalc is a free online toolkit built for students everywhere. We publish fast, accurate calculators — GPA and CGPA tools, percentage converters, merit estimators, grade calculators — alongside plain-language study guides that explain the math behind your marks, no matter which country's education system you study in.
Education looks different everywhere. A 3.7 GPA means one thing at a US university and another at a Pakistani one. India's CBSE percentages, the UK's A-Level grades, the IB diploma points, Bangladesh's GPA-5 scale, Nigeria's 5-point system — every country grades differently, and students deserve tools that speak their system's language. That's what StudyCalc is building: one free toolkit covering every major education system in the world.
What you will find here
- Free calculators — university-specific GPA calculators (NUST, FAST, LUMS, IBA, PIEAS, QAU, GIKI, Air University, Bahria and more), CGPA-to-percentage converters, merit and aggregate estimators, grade calculators, IBCC equivalence tools. No sign-up, no fees, no limits.
- Study guides — step-by-step explainers on grading systems, GPA calculation methods, percentage conversions, admission merit formulas, and exam strategy — written in plain language, verified against official sources.
- Education news — breaking updates on board announcements, exam date sheets, results, scholarship deadlines, and policy changes — from Pakistan's BISE boards and HEC to global programs like Commonwealth, Fulbright, and Chevening.
- Global coverage, local accuracy — every calculator is built on the official grading rules of its institution or system, sourced from university handbooks and board notifications — never invented.
Why free?
Students should not have to pay to understand their own grades. Whether you're calculating a semester GPA in Lahore, converting a CGPA for a US university application, or checking scholarship eligibility in London — the math belongs to you. StudyCalc is free forever: every tool, every guide, every article.
How we work
StudyCalc is maintained by a dedicated team that researches, builds, and verifies every tool against official sources. Each calculator page documents its grading scale, cites the university handbook or board notification it follows, and includes worked examples so you can check the math yourself. When official rules change, we update.
A note on accuracy
Our calculators use official formulas — for example, the HEC CGPA-to-percentage conversion used in Pakistan, or the 4.0 scale standard at US universities. Grading policies differ between institutions and change over time. Always verify important figures (merit, eligibility, conversions) with your own university, board, or education authority before making decisions that matter.
